Rascals is a voluntary sector partnership provider with South Lanarkshire Council. Children can attend from two years 6 months until the age of five. We are an equal opportunities group with clear policies on racial and sexual equality. We can cater for children with additional support needs and younger children need not be potty trained.

Rascals employ a team of three staff and a administrator/manager who have all been through full disclosures by Disclosure Scotland. All our staff are fully qualified or are currently undertaking training to meet the requirements for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (S.S.S.C). Staff regularly update their skills by undertaking training provided by both South Lanarkshire council and local education colleges.

Rascals has a management committee that consists of volunteer parents. These parents are elected at the annual general meeting.

Rascals are inspected yearly by the Care Commission. To view a copy of our previous inspections click here. Follow the link for find an inspection report, choose 'day care of children'in the drop down menu and type in 'Rascals' at the Service name box and 'Stonehouse' in the Town box.
